Setting Health Goals – How To Stay Motivated

Setting Health Goals – How To Stay Motivated It’s that time of year again – “New year, New me!” But why not turn the cliché into a reality and make some changes? You’re never too busy to work towards new health goals and You absolutely CAN change! It takes time to see progress in any goal that we work towards, but once you begin to see that progress, everything suddenly feels so worth it.

How can you stay motivated?

Here are my 5 Cs:

  • Change your mindset
  • Create a vision board
  • Censor out the negativity
  • Choose your catalyst for change
  • Cut out the comparisons

Need a good read to find some motivation?

Dr. Wilkey’s favorite is Atomic Habits by author James Clear. Don’t have enough time to read it? Lucky for you, I have a summary!

An atomic habit is a regular practice or routine that is not only small and easy to do but is also the source of incredible power; a component of the system of compound growth. Bad habits repeat themselves again and again not because you don’t want to change, but because you have the wrong system for change. Changes that seem small and unimportant at first will compound into remarkable results if you’re willing to stick with them for years.

Find your motivation and make the most of this year – Wear a mask & stay safe!
